We are Bright and Broomy!
Bright and Broomy was started in 2025 by a mother-daughter team (Eileen and Kat). This is their second cleaning business together but their first in the state of Georgia! Originally from Western NY, our founders relocated to the Marietta area to pursue better life and business opportunities. In their original careers both of our founders have had first hand experience in the need for a quality based, professional, and efficient cleaning service (not just a wipe down service!) in our area. Out of a desire to bring this to our community, Bright and Broomy was born! By combining their unique experiences and talents, Bright and Broomy offers their clients a high quality, satisfaction guaranteed service backed by science and the desire to treat each client with the respect and care they deserve.
Kat
Co-Owner
Katrina (Kat) has a long history as a small business owner and manager. She started her first business as a teenager in 2002 and has since started 4 unique business throughout her lfie. She started her first cleaning business while she was studying for her Master’s degree at Auburn University. Following graduation she worked for several years as a Microbiologist and then a Quality Manager. These combined experiences led her to start Bright and Broomy out of the desire to provide a cleaning service to the community that was both effective and efficient. Today she is a full-time entrepreneur that spends her spare time gardening and caring for her backyard chickens.
Eileen
Co-Owner
Originally from Pennsylania, Eileen raised her family in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. There they had a small farm, raised most of their own food, and had a vast array of furred and feathered friends. Eileen earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Marywood University and served many years as a social services professional and a higher education professional. An entrepreneur at heart, Eileen joined Kat in Bright and Broomy after retiring from higher education, fueled with a desire to serve our communities by making homes and businesses sparkle. In her spare time, Eileen enjoys nature and natural living, reading, and weight training.
